Police Reforms in Pakistan : Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is Slowly but Surely Leaping Ahead

How can we reform Police in Pakistan? Get it out of political influence is the most important key. So how to do that,

1. Select an Inspector-General cautiously without any pressure of politicians
2. Give him security of tenure.
3. Give him authority to hand pick his team, including DPOs (district police officers) and SHOs.
4. Hold him answerable for any transgressions of the law and Order.
5. Provide him with latest technology and equipment.
6. Lastly give him his due respect.

That is what happening in KPK.
