Yesterday we got our baby vaccinated and he is having fever from then. Crying a lot and not sleeping. We have taken him to 5 different doctors including a child specialist but all are of the view that we are over cautious as he is our first child. According to them all is OK with the baby. But we just can't accept the idea that fever etc is all normal and do nothing. :(
(P.S. "I am to busy taking care of my infant, so please accept my apology for not commenting on your blogs and not replying to comments")
Take it easy but not too easy. If fever continues go back to doctor. But five docs...may be not a good idea..in my opinion. Stick with one trusted doctor.
ReplyDeleteYour boy will be fine. What is his name?
Do not worry about blogging world...you will come back after several years now..hahah
Forget blogs..take care of the precious one....all the best.
ReplyDeleteThis fever is normal, after the vaccination, it will go off, don't worry, and don't keep seeing Doctors, expecting the 6th Doctor to come up with something different from all the other 5.
ReplyDeleteChild will not sleep, will not drink milk all of a sudden, will fall sick: all this part of being parents. All your worries will vanish once you see your baby smiling innocently at you.
no apologies: ) We all understand that u have a new born to take care of. May Allah bless him with good health.
ReplyDeleteBeen there! Done that!
ReplyDeleteWishing speedy recovery to the newborn!
I'd be cautious too - but that is a common reaction from vaccines. Hope he feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteOhoo it always happen after vaccination, do not be so touchy about baby's health this attitute make him weak and sensitive...
ReplyDeleteTry to make him a brave boy... :)
Understandable from the new parents. But, didn't your doctor tell you that it was normal for the baby to have fever after vaccination? Relax, he will be fine soon. When in doubt google a topic, and you and your wife could be members of a website like babycenter.com. It has some wonderful articles and resources for parents. All the best!
